Growing Together to Create Lifelong Learners
On behalf of the pupils, staff, and governors, I would like to extend a warm welcome to Linden Primary School. We are a thriving school in the heart of Gloucester City, proudly serving our community with 421 pupils on roll from Reception to Year 6. Our ethos, 'Growing Together to Create Lifelong Learners', is at the heart of all we do, and we are committed to providing a nurturing, respectful, inspiring, and achieving environment for all.
Our School and Curriculum
At Linden Primary School, we offer a broad and creative curriculum that aims to inspire and engage our pupils. We believe that every child is unique and we strive to recognise and support their individual skills, talents, and attributes. We follow the National Curriculum, which is enriched with a variety of educational visits, themed days, and extra-curricular activities. Our curriculum is designed to stimulate a love of learning, encourage curiosity, and develop transferable skills that prepare our pupils for their future education and beyond.
In addition to our academic curriculum, we pride ourselves on our pastoral care. We understand that happy, confident, and secure children learn best, and we are dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and hard-working environment. We have a strong commitment to inclusion, and we work closely with families and external agencies to support the needs of all our pupils.
Pupil Roles and Responsibilities
We believe that children learn best when they are actively involved in their own learning and we encourage our pupils to take on roles and responsibilities. These include leadership roles, such as School Council, Eco-Council, and Play Leaders, which provide opportunities for pupils to develop their leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. We also offer a range of pupil-led clubs, which provide opportunities for pupils to share their interests and talents with others.
Joining Our School
If you are considering Linden Primary School for your child, we would be delighted to welcome you for a visit.
