*Welcome to the world of Home from Home, where we proudly place the learning, development, and happiness of your child at the very heart of all that we do.*
Home from Home, located at 52A Bernard Street, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL3 5QN, is far more than just a day nursery. We are a nurturing home away from home, where every day is a new opportunity for making magical memories and laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth. Our unwavering commitment to providing the very best in childcare has recently earned us the prestigious EYQS Gold Award, with recent feedback lauding our setting as "truly inspirational" and "everything child centric." We have crafted an environment in which children can spread their wings, learn valuable life skills, and thoroughly enjoy themselves in the process.
Our nursery has been designed with children in mind. With our 'Child's World' philosophy, we ensure that every facility, educational resource, and learning-through-play experience are tailored and finely tuned to the age, stage, and unique needs of each individual child. Our dedicated and passionate team of childcare professionals understand that every child deserves the respect, time, and attention required to help them reach their full potential. We have a wealth of experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and our close relationships with partners dedicated to child development allows us to develop and deliver a bespoke, child-centric learning experience encompassing all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Staff and Service
The review by Tyrone Jhonson highlights a disappointing encounter with Ami, claiming she was rude and judgmental. This negative experience left Tyrone feeling uncomfortable. On the other hand, Rachel Brown's review praises the "first-class staff" and notes that they provide a safe and fun learning environment, making it feel like a "home from home" for the children.
Overall Experience
The tone of the reviews is vastly different, with Tyrone's experience being overwhelmingly negative and Rachel's being overwhelmingly positive. While Tyrone's encounter with Ami was unpleasant, Rachel's experience with the staff suggests that they are generally friendly and welcoming.
