Ladybirds Nursery is an outstanding childcare provider in St Albans, dedicated to providing a homely, caring, and stimulating environment for children to thrive. Our nursery is led by two experienced early years teachers who inspire children to 'spread their wings and fly'. Our Philosophy

Our Team

Our team is comprised of experienced and dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality childcare. Our nursery manager, Michelle Gee, holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Early Years, and our team members hold various qualifications, including Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas in Children and Young People's Workforce. We strive to maintain a staff-to-child ratio that allows us to provide personalized attention and care to each child.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to cater to the unique needs of children from three months to five years. Our nursery is divided into four rooms, each tailored to meet the specific needs of children at different stages of development.

• Babybirds Doves: A relaxed, nurturing, and homely environment for babies from three months to 18 months.
• Babybirds Starlings: Fun and interactive activities to spark toddlers' curiosity and eagerness to learn, for children from 19 months to 2+ years.
• Ladybirds Kingfishers: Planned activities, both indoors and outdoors, combining high-quality education with care, for children from 2 to 3+ years.
• Ladybirds Pre-School: High-quality learning in the morning, followed by forest school activities in the afternoon, for children from 3 to 5 years.
