Playdays Day Nursery

At Playdays, we are dedicated to providing the finest quality care, education, and love for our children. Our goal is to help each child reach the highest degree of independence and confidence, as well as to discover their own strengths academically and creatively, and to pave the way for them to go on and be happy and inquisitive at school.

Traditional Teaching Methods

We believe in traditional teaching methods, where each individual child is cared for and taught in a homely and stimulating environment. Our experienced and qualified staff deliver a wide range of activities and subjects to cater to the needs of children from three months to five years old. Our curriculum is designed to foster a love of learning, creativity, and self-expression.

Separate Rooms for Different Age Groups

We have separate rooms for different age groups, including Baby Rooms for children from three months to one and a half years old, Toddler Rooms for children from one and a half years to three years old, and Pre-School Rooms for children from three to five years old. This allows us to provide individualized care and attention to each child, tailored to their specific needs and abilities.

Feedback on Your Child's Development

We believe that communication is key to our children's progress and development. We offer regular feedback to parents on their child's progress, including daily routine diaries for children under two years old, termly newsletters, and twice-yearly parents/teacher meetings. We also provide a general progress report at the end of the child's time at the nursery.

Frequent Discussions with Parents

We welcome frequent discussions with parents about their child's progress and development. We believe that parents are an essential part of their child's educational journey and that by working together, we can provide the best possible start in life for our children.

Open All Day, Every Day

We are open all day, every day, throughout the week, 51 weeks a year, with our standard hours being 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. We accommodate full-time and part-time places (subject to availability) for children from three months to five years old. We also offer a 'before/after school' facility and holiday club for when your child leaves us to go onto school.

Multiple Locations

We have five different locations around London, including nurseries in Wimbledon, Chiswick, and Kensington. Our nurseries are strategically located to serve the needs of families living in these areas and beyond.
