Our Team

Our team of enthusiastic and highly qualified teachers are passionate about providing a nurturing and engaging environment for our children. With a range of qualifications, including MA, Bsc, NVQ 3 and 4, Montessori Diploma, QTS, and Early Years Professional Status, we are committed to giving each child the best possible start in life.

Our principal, Miss Su, is an experienced and dedicated leader who has been at the helm of Zebedee since 1982. Alongside her is a team of dedicated teachers, including Miss Stefi, Miss Mavis, Miss Naa Odey, and Miss Jlia. Our teachers are committed to providing high-quality education and care to our children, and we are proud to say that our staff-to-child ratio is excellent, with one member of staff to four children for under-threes and one member of staff to eight children for rising threes to fives.

Christian Foundation

As Christian teachers, we believe that every child is precious to God and that they should always be encouraged in everything they do. We strive to show each child this love and acceptance, and we aim to build confidence in each child, believing them to be extremely precious to God. We believe in combining love and firmness when creating boundaries for the children, and we encourage them to respect, care for, and be kind to one another.

What Children Learn

At Zebedee, we believe in providing a well-rounded education that encompasses not only academic learning but also social and emotional development. We teach children important values such as sharing and taking turns, and we encourage them to respect and care for one another. We also teach the children about God and Jesus Christ, using stories and themes from the Bible throughout the term. Our sessions are creative and engaging, and we make sure to involve parents and carers in their child's learning journey.

Parental Involvement

We believe that parent involvement is essential in a child's education, and we strive to work closely with families to ensure that every child feels welcome and supported. We invite parents to join us for termly coffee mornings, and we encourage parents and carers to support their child's learning from home. We believe that education in the pre-school is an extension of learning at home, and we work closely with families to ensure that each child receives the best possible start in life.
