At The Plough Hotel, we are proud to be a family-friendly country hotel located in the heart of the Scottish Borders. We strive to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests. Our hotel has a rich history, and we are proud to be a part of the local community.
Our Story
Our journey began in 2014 when our mother-daughter team, Sandi and Zoe Keddie, took over the hotel. With years of experience in the hospitality industry, we were determined to make The Plough Hotel the best local pub in the Scottish Borders. We have worked tirelessly to create a unique and memorable experience for all of our guests.
Our Services
Our hotel features a range of services to cater to our guests' needs. We offer a wide selection of real ales and craft beers, as well as an extensive wine list. We also have a selection of soft drinks and mocktails for our non-alcoholic guests.
Our kitchen serves up delicious pub fare using only the freshest local ingredients. We offer a range of options to suit all tastes, from traditional pub classics to more contemporary dishes.
We have five beautifully decorated bedrooms, each named after a word from the gypsy language. Our rooms are designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay for all of our guests.
Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a family adventure, we have something for everyone. We offer a range of themed nights and events throughout the year, from quizzes and live music to charity fundraisers and themed parties.
