Our History
Amphletts was first established in 1897, and the Firm was known as Amphlett and Porter until 1947 when it became simply Amphlett and Co, Solicitors. We became incorporated in December 2013. The Firm has practiced from the same premises at 49 Conway Road, Colwyn Bay, ever since, and for the last 26 years, the Partners have been Christopher Hind and Gareth Edmondson. Throughout this period, we have provided a comprehensive range of specialist legal services to the residents of Colwyn Bay and North Wales generally.

Our Directors, Gareth Edmondson and Simon Owen, have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in their respective fields. Gareth has a particular interest in employment matters, accident claims, and all other types of disputes, while Simon has expertise in Conveyancing, Wills, and Administration of Estates. Our Solicitors are hardworking, diligent, approachable, and keen to ensure that we obtain the outcome that the client wants.
