Expertly managing your property, expertly guiding your journey

At Julie Burton Law, we pride ourselves on being a specialist solicitors practice, dedicated to securing the rights of people with disabilities to appropriate services, and supporting them and their families, friends, carers, and others in managing their affairs generally. Our team of expert solicitors, including Rebecca Humphreys, Helen Scott, and Ema Roberts, are committed to providing high-quality legal advice and representation to individuals, families, and carers.

Our Services

We offer a range of services, including Community Care, Mental Health, Incapacity & Best Interests, and Wills, Probate & Future Planning. In Community Care, we work with clients, their carers, and/or parents, to ensure they receive the community support they are entitled to in law. This includes obtaining community care needs assessments, challenging Social Services' failure to deliver appropriate support services, and gaining the services which people are eligible for. We also provide advice and representation in Mental Health law, including detention under the Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act 2005 issues. Additionally, we can assist with Wills, Probate, and Future Planning, including making wills, administering estates, drawing up lasting powers of attorney, and applying to be appointed as a deputy.

Our Expertise

Our team has extensive experience in working with people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, older people, people with mental health problems, and people who need NHS continuing health care services. We also work closely with other solicitors' firms and voluntary sector organisations, including advocacy and carer groups, to ensure that our clients receive the best possible support and representation. We hold a contract with the Legal Aid Agency to provide specialist legal advice through the Community Legal Service in the areas of Community Care law and Mental Health law.

Our Commitment

At Julie Burton Law, we are committed to providing high-quality legal advice and representation to all our clients, regardless of their financial circumstances. We will always seek to access 'Legal Aid' public funding for those who qualify, ensuring that everyone has access to the legal support they need. We work across North Wales and beyond, and welcome enquiries from anyone in need of our services, and from their families and carers.
