We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to you from all of us here at Kilham Church of England Primary School. Our school is a small, friendly and inclusive learning community where each individual is nurtured and valued. We are proud of our strong Christian ethos, which is at the heart of all we do, and which underpins our commitment to providing an engaging, challenging and meaningful education for every child.

Our School Day

Our school day starts at 8.55am and finishes at 3.30pm. We offer a range of before and after school clubs and activities, providing opportunities for children to learn new skills and interests outside of the school day. Our experienced and dedicated staff provide a caring and supportive learning environment, where children feel safe, happy and valued.

The Staff and Governors

Our team of skilled and committed staff work hard to ensure that each child receives the education they deserve. We have high expectations of all our pupils and strive to ensure that each child achieves their full potential. Our governors play an active role in the life of the school, providing valuable support and challenge to ensure that we continue to improve and move forward.

Eco Club

At Kilham, we are committed to promoting sustainable living and reducing our impact on the environment. Our Eco Club meets regularly and takes an active role in the school's environmental initiatives, such as reducing waste, conserving energy and promoting biodiversity.

Sport at Kilham School

We believe that sport and physical activity are an essential part of a well-rounded education. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum that include a range of sports and physical activities, and we participate in a wide variety of inter-school competitions and festivals. Our aim is to inspire a love of sport and physical activity and promote the health and wellbeing of every child.

Covid Catch Up Funding

In response to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have received additional funding to support the catch-up of pupils who have faced disruption to their learning. We are using this funding to provide extra tuition and support for pupils who need it the most, ensuring that they are able to make good progress and achieve their full potential.

Pupil Premium

We are committed to supporting all our pupils, including those who are disadvantaged or vulnerable. We receive additional funding through the Pupil Premium to support these children, and we use this funding to provide a range of interventions and support, such as extra tuition and small group work, to help these children to make good progress and achieve their full potential.

Sport Premium

We believe that physical activity and sport are essential for the health and wellbeing of all our children. We receive additional funding through the Sport Premium to support the development of physical education and sport in our school. We use this funding to provide a range of opportunities for children to engage in physical activity and sport, including extra-curricular clubs and inter-school competitions, to help children to develop a love of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
