At Mrs Bond's Village Nursery, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Our motto, "Making Learning Fun, " guides everything we do. We believe that children learn best when they are happy, and we strive to create a stimulating and engaging atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, moral, and cognitive development.
Our Philosophy
We understand that every child is unique, with their own interests, strengths, and needs. Our curriculum is designed to cater to these individual needs, providing a wide range of activities and toys that encourage children to explore, create, and learn. We believe that children learn best when they are having fun, and we strive to make learning an enjoyable and exciting experience.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which is designed to promote learning and development in seven areas:
- Physical Development
- Communication and Language
- Personal, Social, and Emotional Development
- Mathematics
- Literacy
- Understanding the World
- Expressive Arts and Design
Our curriculum is designed to be child-centered, responding to children's interests and encouraging independent learning. We believe that children learn best when they are engaged, motivated, and curious, and we strive to create an environment that fosters these values.
Our Team
Our team of experienced and qualified staff are dedicated to providing high-quality care and education to children. We employ people with different educational training backgrounds, and they all attend regular further training courses to ensure that they are up-to-date with the latest research and best practices. All staff are CRB and reference-checked before having unsupervised contact with children.
Our Facilities
Our nursery is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a garden area, sensory room, and classroom. We also have a dedicated area for each age group, providing a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
Our Partnerships
We believe that parents are the children's main educators, and we work closely with parents to support their child's learning and development. We have regular "stay and play" sessions, parent-teacher conferences, and events such as Sports Day, Graduation, and a Christmas Nativity. We also use an online Learning Journal called "Tapestry" where parents can view their child's progress and leave messages for their key worker.
