The Black Boy is a traditional back street boozer, tucked away on Wharf Hill in Winchester. This charming pub has been under the same ownership since 1995 and continues to offer a refreshing bolthole for a cross section of drinkers. Concentrating mainly on real ale sourced from Hampshire, it still has a small, but carefully sourced wine list. As a traditional pub, beer is the main ingredient, but homemade food is also served 6 days a week. With a choice of sandwiches or main meals, all the food is prepared and made on site. As well as having a roaring fire in the winter there is also a garden with heaters and a cloistered feel to it.
The Black Boy Pub is a unique and charming pub with an excellent atmosphere, great selection of beers, and friendly staff.
