Derry Hill Church of England Primary School is a caring and supportive environment where children feel safe, happy, and secure. We believe in creating an inclusive ethos, strengthened by our core Christian values, where all children have equal opportunity to flourish and reach their full potential. We provide a calm and caring environment, dedicated staff, and a parent/school partnership to support each child's individual needs. Our curriculum is designed to develop the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally, with a focus on early reading and phonics, developing vocabulary, English, maths, science, and more. We have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff, governors, and volunteers to share this commitment.
Positive comments include appreciation for teaching, leadership, and activities, as well as the facilities and church proximity.
Negative comments involve disappointment with changes in the school's direction and the perceived lack of Christian values.
