At Kids Corner Nursery, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children from 0-5 years old. Our story began in 2012 when two friends, Hafsa and Mariam, decided to leave their successful careers in childcare to create a unique and loving space for children to grow and thrive. With the support of their own families, they opened the first Kids Corner Nursery at Upperton Road in Leicester. The second location was established at Gwendolen Road in 2018, further expanding our commitment to provide exceptional childcare services to the local community.

Our dedicated team of professionals, all DBS checked and fully qualified for their duties, work together to create a stimulating and fun environment that caters to each child's individual needs. We focus on the holistic development of our children, encouraging their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth. Our nurturing approach fosters confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of belonging, preparing our young friends for a bright and exciting future.

Our Services

• Play & Learn: We offer a wide range of activities and experiences, designed to stimulate imagination, creativity, and curiosity in our children. From playdough to storytelling, we engage our young explorers in fun and educational activities that foster a lifelong love for learning.
• Mealtimes: Our nursery chef prepares fresh, healthy meals daily, catering to various dietary requirements and preferences. Mealtimes provide a wonderful opportunity for socialization, encouraging children to develop essential life skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and respectful communication.
• Development & Progress: Our dedicated team of managers and staff regularly update parents on their child's progress through secure online diaries. We also invite parents to share their thoughts and feedback, ensuring a collaborative approach to nurturing our children's growth and development.

Parental Involvement

We recognize the importance of parental involvement in their child's educational journey. We encourage regular communication, hosting parents' evenings and providing updates through our online diary system. This collaborative approach ensures we work together to create a personalized plan for each child's growth and development.

Funding & Fees

• Government Support: We acknowledge that funding and fees can be a significant concern for many families. To alleviate some of this pressure, we offer 15 hours of FREE childcare for 3- and 4-year-olds, regardless of employment status. Eligible 2-year-olds also benefit from 15 hours of FREE childcare.
• Funding Entitlements: If you are eligible, you may be entitled to government funding, potentially covering up to 20% of your childcare fees. Alternatively, you may claim through universal credit, with some households eligible for up to 85% funding.
