The Fox Inn is a family-friendly, traditional country pub that has been proudly run by myself and my wife Emma for nearly 20 years. We take great pride in being what an English country pub should be, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that is steeped in history and tradition.
We are located in the idyllic village of Denchworth, just outside of Wantage in Oxfordshire. Our beautiful thatched pub is a popular destination for both locals and visitors alike, offering a wide range of delicious food and drink options that are sure to satisfy.
We are very much hands-on and take great care to ensure that every guest feels welcome and valued. We believe that the personal touch is what sets us apart from other establishments, and we are committed to providing the highest level of service to all who walk through our doors.
What We Offer: Main Menu
At the Fox Inn, we aim to inspire with our menu offerings. Our main menu features a wide range of dishes that are prepared using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. From traditional pub classics like fish and chips and bangers and mash, to more adventurous options like our signature Stroganoff, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
We are proud to be tied to Greene King, which allows us to choose from their extensive range of beers, wines, and spirits. We offer a wide variety of wines from around the world, as well as a full range of soft drinks and spirits. Our drinks menu also includes a good range of gins and single malts to satisfy all tastes.

When We Are Open
The Fox Inn is open Tuesday nights from 6pm to 11pm, with food served from 6pm until 9pm. We are also open Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 2pm for lunch and then again from 6pm until 11pm for dinner, with food served between 12pm and 2pm and then again from 6pm to 9pm. On Sundays, we are open from 12pm to 6pm, with food served from 12pm to 5pm.
