General Atmosphere and Staff
The majority of customers praised the friendly staff, with one customer, Kevin Connor, stating that the staff, particularly Suzie, was an absolute credit to the pub trade. The atmosphere in the pub was described as good, with a modern and clean building that made it a great place to eat and socialize.
Food Quality and Pricing
The quality of food received mixed reviews. Dave Moss found the food to be well-priced and enjoyable, while Lucy Berry had a poor experience with barely edible food and long waiting times. Elliott Webb and Brian Nutter noted that the food was good but not great, and that there were better pubs nearby that offered better value for money. The menu variety was appreciated, but some customers felt that the prices were a bit high for what they received.
Service
Sally Keill and Chris The Parronators experienced some issues with the service, such as forgotten drinks and a lack of drink menus. However, the staff generally received positive feedback for their attentiveness and friendliness.
Ambience and Events
Daniel Gant mentioned that the pub's seating arrangement could be improved, as it was difficult to hear themselves talk due to a large group nearby. Dave Moss appreciated the weekly quiz night and poker evening, which added to the pub's ambience and made it a great place to socialize.
