Empowering Young Minds, One Smile at a Time
At Jigsaw Nursery, we are committed to providing a high-quality and caring environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Our excellent team of qualified and dedicated staff strive to provide the best childcare and education, giving priority to the development, individual needs, and happiness of the children and their families.
Our Philosophy
We believe that pre-school children flourish in a high-quality and caring environment where learning is an active process achieved whilst playing. Our aim is to help each child meet their social, emotional, and developmental needs through:
- High-quality activities that develop a child's knowledge and understanding of the outside world
- Fun and stimulation
- Safety and security
- Challenges for the child to help develop their own interests and abilities
- Commitment in developing a child's emotional and social confidence
- Opportunities for the child to make choices and decisions
- Strong parental involvement to meet the needs of the families and their children
We also have a key worker system in place, which ensures that each child is assigned a specific member of staff who will support that child and their family throughout their time at Jigsaw. All our staff are qualified and highly experienced, including trained paediatric First Aiders. Our staff regularly attend courses to update their knowledge, skills, and understanding.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of each child, providing a balance of activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Our curriculum is based on the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and is delivered through a range of processes, including play, active learning, and exploration.
Our Locations
We have two nursery locations: Hatch End and Pinner. Both locations have excellent Ofsted reports and offer a welcoming and caring environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our Hatch End location is situated at The Scout Hall R/O 384 Uxbridge Road, Hatch End HA5 4PH, with a tel number 020 8421 1022. Our Pinner location is situated at Pinner Free Church 70 Paines Lane, Pinner HA5 3BL, with a tel number 020 8868 9415.
What Our Parents Say
- "My son has always been a momma's boy and it was a rough couple of weeks when we first started him at Jigsaw Pinner. It was our first attempt at any sort of child care (and restrictions due to covid also complicated the change). But I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly he settled in! The space is lovely and colourful and exciting. The staff are kind and warm. And management are very receptive to helping make the experience so that the transition away from mummy is not too traumatic. Truly a wonderful nursery experience so far." - Zaynab Karim (Google Review)
- "Both my children have been to Jigsaw and have loved it. The team are fantastic and really get all the children engaged in the activities. The Robin room is super nurturing and the Owl room really sets the children up for school - great place to send pre-schoolers?" - Gemma Bithell (Google Review)
- "We love this place, it is in a good area, everybody working in Jigsaw Pinner are professional, kind, good knowledge and very patience with kids. Karina (our key worker) is lovely. They work very hard to ensure the safety of all children. My DS was totally settled down in just 3 days I was very impressed! I think this is best feedback I can provide. Thank you Jigsaw Team." - Elizabeth A.H (Google Review)
