Situated in the charming village of Shurdington, on the outskirts of Cheltenham Spa in Gloucestershire, The Bell Inn offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal or a drink with friends. With an open log fire in the winter and a huge beer garden for the summer, our traditional country inn is the ideal location for any occasion.

At The Bell Inn, we pride ourselves on serving traditional home-cooked quality food, made with the finest local ingredients. Our talented Head Chef, Ian Cullen, has created an exciting new menu that showcases the best of seasonal local produce. From our All Day Menu to our Sunday Roast, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Our Menus

At The Bell Inn, we offer a range of menus to suit all tastes and occasions. Our All Day Menu is available every day from 12 pm, featuring a variety of delicious dishes, from classic pub favourites to more adventurous options. Our Lunch Menu offers a selection of lighter bites, perfect for a quick lunchtime stop, while our Evening Menu features a range of hearty dishes, ideal for a cosy evening in.

On Sundays, we offer a traditional Sunday Roast, featuring locally sourced meats and seasonal vegetables. Our Children's Menu offers a range of options for our younger guests, while our Drinks Menu features a selection of real ales, ciders, lagers, wines, and spirits, perfect for washing down your meal.

In addition to our food menus, we also offer a range of seasonal local produce for sale, including fruit, veg, firewood, and more.

Events and Occasions

At The Bell Inn, we are proud to host a range of events and occasions throughout the year. Our Memory Cafe is a monthly social gathering for those living with memory loss and their carers, while our Carer's Cafe for Veterans offers a space for veterans and their families to come together and find support.

We also offer a Remote Working space, ideal for those who need a quiet and comfortable environment to work in. Our Shurdington Community Wellbeing group is a monthly meeting for those who want to connect with their local community and take part in activities and discussions.

Find Us

The Bell Inn is located on the A46/Shurdington Road, just a few miles from Cheltenham town centre. We are easily accessible by car, with ample parking facilities, including disabled parking bays.

From the M5, take Junction 11A and follow signs for A417/Cirencester. Take the turning for A46/Cheltenham and take the first exit onto A46/Shurdington Road. The Bell Inn is located on the left-hand side, approximately 1.5 miles along the road.
