Our Story

Our story began many years ago when we were known as the White Lion, a West Country ales pub. Over the centuries, we have evolved into the Coalhouse Inn, a name derived from the old coal barges that once made their way up the River Severn to our coal wharf at Coombe Hill. Today, we continue to build on our rich history by offering our customers a warm welcome, a wide range of fine foods, and an extensive selection of real ales and ciders.
