The pub's origins date back to a time when strawberries were grown on the outskirts of Locks Heath, with the fruit being transported by horse and cart to Swanwick station and then loaded onto trains destined for London. Today, our name pays homage to that rich history and our commitment to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere where people can come together to enjoy good company, great food, and excellent drink.
