Our History
Wrington Motors Ltd was originally set up in the 1920s by S.O. Kingcott Ltd and has been providing a service to the local community ever since. The current owner, Melvyn Freeman, started working for Kingcotts in 1983 and took over the garage in 1992 when the owners retired. Our team of mechanics started with us as apprentices and have many years of experience. The reception is staffed by experienced technicians who can advise you on all aspects of your vehicle needs.

We offer a wide range of garage services, including car air conditioning, batteries, brakes, clutch replacement, engine diagnostics, MOT, wheel alignment, and wheel balancing. Our well-equipped workshop has two MOT test bays and five vehicle repair ramps, and we also have a state-of-the-art computerized wheel alignment machine that not only checks the tracking but also the caster, camber, KPI, steering thrust angle, and axle set back, giving a full vehicle alignment report.
Our Team
Our team is led by Melvyn Freeman, Director, who has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is an MOT tester and approved air conditioning refrigerant handler. Peter Gifford, our Service Manager, is a qualified technician and MOT tester with many years of experience. Jeremy Court, our MOT Tester/Technician, has been with us since 1991 and is qualified in safe working practices on hybrid and electric vehicles.
