Issues with Cleanliness and Maintenance
Several reviewers had negative experiences with the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. Chris Cooper described the single room as "incredibly dirty, small, and in need of a lot of repair", while Annalise S. described the room as "dirty, moldy, and extremely cold". Rosario Caccamo stated that the room was "cold and noisy", with a "paper-thin" wall that made it feel like a "virtual meeting point" for adjacent guests. Tina Muehle also described the bathroom as needing a "deep cleanse" and found hair and other debris on the towels.
Contrasting Experiences
On the other hand, some reviewers had much more positive experiences. Antony Brookes praised the staff, particularly Andrew, who helped him with directions and provided great service. Ali Sevindi also praised the staff, particularly Sam, who went above and beyond to help him with parking and other issues. Ina Akesson and her friend had an incredible service experience, with Andrew standing out in particular.
Limited Amenities
John McIntosh visited the hotel to watch a rugby game and praised the Guinness, but noted that the TV was not impressive. Rosario Caccamo also mentioned that the hotel lacked many basic amenities, including a decent shower and elevator.
Location
Most reviewers agreed that the hotel had a good location, close to transportation and the city centre.
