Our initiative was formed to address the need for effective self-regulation of independent workshops and MOT centres, providing motorists with a reliable and trustworthy way to find a garage in their area to service, repair, or carry out an MOT.
Our Services

Our members are committed to working to an Industry Standard Checklist, ensuring that motorists receive a high-quality service that meets their needs. We also provide motorists with a Seasonal Check, a 21-point check that includes tyres, brakes, lights, and much more, to ensure that their vehicle is ready for the season ahead.
Our Members
Our members are a network of local garages that have pledged to adhere to our Code of Conduct, ensuring that they have their customers' best interests at heart. Our members agree what work needs doing with their customers before it is carried out, supply each customer with a feedback card, and work to an Industry Standard Checklist. We also subject our members to regular mystery shopper-style audits to ensure that they meet our high standards.

Unreliable Reviews on the Good Garage Scheme
The Good Garage Scheme has been criticized by several reviewers who claim that the platform is biased towards positive reviews and fails to allow customers to share their negative experiences. Fake Feedback
Multiple reviewers, including Jawed Shah, Brian Bingham, and XxMarc Xx, have reported that their negative reviews were removed from the site in a short period. This has led them to question the authenticity of the reviews displayed on the platform. Garages with Flawed Ratings
