The Royal Standard is a traditional pub located in the charming village of Upwey on the outskirts of Weymouth, Dorset. The Royal Standard has been actively researched by the Landlord who is keen to discover the heritage that makes the pub so special. Researching the history of the pub both as a pub and the building itself has compiled some fascinating insights. We have a long and storied past, with the earliest records dating back to the 18th century. Over the years, the pub has played host to countless celebrations, meetings, and gatherings, making it a true hub of the local community.
