The Directors
Mark and Jo took over The Orange Tree in June 2009, and they are a dynamic duo who lead by example. They are hands-on, involved in every aspect of the business, from cleaning tables, helping in the kitchen, and clearing glasses, to running the business. They have created a warm and welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back time and time again.
The Chef
Isaac, our head chef, has led a number of successful culinary ventures before joining the Orange Tree team. He has been with us for the last five years and has a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes that showcase the best of local produce. Isaac's meticulous attention to detail and boundless creativity have led to countless accolades, and his menu consistently delights customers.
The General Manager
Anthea, our general manager, has spent the last 18 years in the hospitality industry and brings a wealth of experience to The Orange Tree. Anthea has a passion for wines and cocktails and takes pride in welcoming customers and ensuring their visit is an enjoyable and memorable one. With Anthea at the helm, customers can expect exceptional service and a warm and welcoming environment.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to ensure our customers have a memorable and enjoyable experience. Our dining area and bar are open seven days a week, and we serve a range of fresh produce from our kitchen, accompanied by a selection of classic botanical cocktails, fine wines, and local craft beers at the bar. We offer a range of dining options, from our a la carte menu to our set menu, and we cater to all dietary requirements. We have an extensive wine list and an ever-changing selection of cask ales and craft beers.
In addition to our dining options, we also offer accommodation at The Orange Tree. We have a range of rooms available, each individually designed and furnished with super-comfy beds and pillows. All of our rooms are en-suite, and we offer a range of rooms to suit our customers' needs, from double rooms to family rooms and suites. We are a team of dog lovers and allow dogs in most of our rooms at an additional charge of 12 per night.
Booking and Contact Information
We recommend booking in advance, especially for dinner, as we can get very busy. Our online booking system is currently unavailable, but we are always available to take bookings over the phone. We require card details to secure all reservations, and any cancellations made within 24 hours of your reservation or "no shows" will automatically incur a cancellation fee of 15%. If you have any special requests or dietary requirements, please let us know when you make your booking.
