Drink with Us

Our pub is proud to serve Batemans beer, brewed in Wainfleet since 1874. Our brewing methods have been passed down through four generations of the Bateman family, ensuring that our beer is of the highest quality. We offer a range of Batemans beers, as well as a selection of wines, spirits, and soft drinks. Join us for a drink and experience the warm and friendly atmosphere that our pub is known for.

Our History

Our pub dates back to the 1700s and was originally the home of John Shaw Esquire, a local dignitary. Batemans purchased the pub in 1990 from Home Brewery in Nottingham and have been proud to serve the people of Wainfleet ever since. The pub is located on the historic Wainfleet Market Place, overlooking the Wainfleet Medieval Butter Cross, where John Wesley once preached and the clock tower. The village of Wainfleet All Saints has a rich history, dating back to Roman times, and was once a bustling port. Today, Wainfleet is a charming village that is well worth exploring, with many historic buildings and a rich heritage to discover.

Location

Our pub is located in the heart of Wainfleet, just a five-minute walk from Wainfleet train station, which has regular links to Skegness, Boston, and Nottingham. If you require a local taxi number, please don't hesitate to ask. We look forward to welcoming you to The Woolpack Pub & Kitchen.
