Our property is situated just 30 miles south of Inverness, making it an ideal destination for those who wish to explore the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Our Property

Tigh na Lochan is a spacious three-bedroom bungalow that can comfortably accommodate up to six guests. The property is arranged over one floor and features a warm and welcoming living room with a living flame fire, a separate dining room with French doors leading to the rear garden, and a well-equipped kitchen. The master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom, while the other two bedrooms have built-in wardrobes. The family bathroom consists of a three-piece white suite with a shower over the bath. The property also boasts full double glazing, gas central heating with instant hot water, and free WiFi Internet access.

Amenities and Services

At Tigh na Lochan, we pride ourselves on providing our guests with a home away from home. Our self-catering packages include linen, towels, hairdryers, ironing facilities, high chair, and travel cot (cot linen is not supplied). We also offer a selection of DVDs, books, toys, and games for your entertainment. For those looking to stay connected, we provide free WiFi Internet access and Sky Entertainment, Netflix, and Disney+ for all of our guests.

Outdoor Spaces

The front garden of Tigh na Lochan is open plan with a driveway offering parking for two vehicles. The rear garden is gated and enclosed with timber fencing, lawn and patio area, making it an ideal space for children to play safely.

• Christmas 2021: 1000 per week
• New Year 2021/2022: 1200 per week

Please note that we do not allow pets, and Tigh na Lochan is a non-smoking establishment. We offer last-minute deals and weekend or mid-week breaks, so please phone or email for details and prices.

Aviemore is a popular destination for those who love the great outdoors. With several nine and 18-hole golf courses nearby, excellent salmon and trout fishing in the River Spey and other waters, windsurfing, canoeing, rafting, indoor climbing wall, swimming, tennis, downhill and cross-country skiing, and other winter sports, there's no shortage of activities to enjoy. For those looking to explore the natural beauty of the area, we recommend visiting the RSPB Osprey Centre, Landmark Centre, Highland Folk Museum, and Rothie Murchus. If you're looking for adventure, we suggest trying out Cairngorm Mountain, Highland Wildlife Park, Strathspey Railway, and Adventure and Leisure Activities. Children will love the Cairngorm Walks, Loch Morlich, Craggan Outdoors, Mikes Bikes, Go Karting, Aviemore, G2 Outdoor MTB, Highland Skiing, Ski Glenshee, and Lecht Weather and Webcams.
