The Cottage Nursery

The Cottage Nursery stands as a beacon of quality childcare in the Shrivenham and Watchfield area. Founded in 1987, our passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning has only grown over the years. Guided by Managers Clare Olden and Trudi Krzywiec and a dedicated Board of Trustees, we are committed to providing exceptional care and educational opportunities for children from families both within the Defence Academy community and the local area.

A Rich History

Our journey began in 1987 as Beckett Creche, a small, nurturing space for young minds. Over the years, we grew and evolved, merging with Beckett School in 1995 and relocating to our current, spacious premises on Alexander Hall in Watchfield in 2000.
