Decommissioning
The process of taking offshore platforms out of service safely and securely is a sensitive, complex, and technically formidable undertaking. Over the next two decades, offshore decommissioning activity in the North Sea will predictably increase as existing field infrastructure approaches the end of its productive life. Code-A-Weld has positioned itself to take advantage of this upsurge by demonstrating skills in niche areas of the business. Decommissioning is a key objective for us moving forward, and we have focused our services in this specialist sector of the Offshore Industry.
Our Facilities
Our workshop and facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, including a high definition plasma cutter with true hole technology and a Trumpf Trumatic 3030 laser cutting machine. This enables us to deliver high-quality products efficiently and effectively.
Quality Assurance
At Code-A-Weld, we take quality assurance seriously. Our Directors and QHSE manager assess all personnel, and an employee performance matrix is updated regularly. Additional training is given where required. We have built a close relationship with Great Yarmouth College, and as a direct result of this collaboration, they have set up a Business Partnership Group of which we are a member.
