Boiler Service
A boiler service is a crucial annual check performed by a Gas Safe engineer. Its primary purpose is to ensure that the boiler is running safely and at its most efficient level. During the service, the engineer will carry out a visual check of the boiler's interior and exterior components, clean any necessary parts, tightness test the surrounding pipework, check for harmful gases, and ensure the boiler is properly ventilated.
A regular boiler service will ensure that your boiler is running at its most efficient level, protecting the warranty, detecting small faults before they become costly repairs, and most importantly, keeping you and your family safe from carbon monoxide poisoning. For landlords, it is a legal requirement to have a Gas Safety certificate, and we work with many landlords and letting companies to ensure their properties are gas-safe checked.
Landlords' Legal Obligations
In accordance with Gas Safety Regulations (1998), landlords are legally obliged to have a Gas Safety certificate on all rental properties, which should be renewed every 12 months. We work with numerous landlords and letting companies, providing Gas Safety checks on their properties and performing any repairs or installations needed. We put you on our service list and send you a reminder each year when the gas check is due to prevent your certificate from expiring.
Boiler Insurance
Our boiler insurance service can give you peace of mind that in the event of a breakdown, the cost of repair is covered, and you have access to expert advice from our engineers 7 days a week. We offer a priority service, with annual boiler service at a reduced cost, cover for all parts for repairs, cover for all call-out and labour costs, and no excess per claim. Call-outs are within 12 hours if contacted before 5 pm and within 24 hours if contacted after 5 pm.
