Staff and Service
The pub has had a mix of good and bad experiences with the staff and service. Stephen Reeve and Martin Myatt both praised the polite and efficient staff, with Stephen noting that Kelsey seated them at a lovely table and Martin mentioning that a waitress named Emily was extremely helpful. On the other hand, Eloise Dunn was unhappy with the slow service at the bar, and Craig Sale was left waiting 15 minutes to be served, having to open the kitchen door and shout to get attention.
Food
The food at the pub has also received mixed reviews. Stephen Reeve and Adrian Jones both loved their carvery meals, with Stephen noting that his daughter absolutely loved hers and Adrian saying that all 8 of them thought the food was really nice and great value. However, Eloise Dunn was disappointed with the selection of food, saying that there seemed to be less choice than usual and that the Yorkshire puddings were hard and the cauliflower cheese was undercooked. Jennifer Restall had a terrible experience with her carvery meal, saying that it was overcooked and that the stuffing was like a brick.
Facilities
Parking has been an issue for some customers, with Stephen Reeve mentioning that there were not enough disabled bays and Andy Whetton noting that the car park shared with a Travel Lodge. On the other hand, Martin Myatt and Victoria Deacon both praised the parking, with Martin saying that there were plenty of parking spots, including two disabled bays, and Victoria noting that the pub was easily accessible.
Overall Impression
The overall impression of the pub is that it is a hit or miss experience. Some customers have had excellent food and service, while others have had terrible experiences with the quality of the food and the service. It seems that the pub is trying to provide a good service, but there are some issues that need to be addressed.
