R & A Engineering Ltd is a family-run precision engineering company with over thirty years of experience in providing precision machined components through CNC milling and CNC turning. Located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, we have been trading since 1985, initially as a partnership before converting to a limited company in 2005. Throughout our history, we have continued to invest in the latest CNC machine tools, allowing us to stay at the forefront of precision engineering.

Our History

Our company was founded in 1985 with the aim of providing Precision Machined Components to a diverse range of industries. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our facilities to meet the increasing demands of our customers and the precision engineering industry.

Our Capabilities

We have invested heavily in the latest CNC milling technology, allowing us to produce high-quality components in a variety of materials, including plastics, aluminium, mild steels, stainless steels, and inconel. Our extensive machinery park includes:

• CNC milling machines with 3, 4 & 5th axis capabilities up to one metre capacity, with maximum spindle speeds of 12,000 rpm
• CNC lathes with automatic bar feeding and chucking up to 10 inches
• Multi-axis and 5-axis machining centres
• Sliding head lathes

Our dedicated and well-equipped inspection department utilises Mitutoyo co-ordinate measuring machines and extensive calibration equipment and gauges to ensure that all components meet the required standards.
