A Great Place for your Little Ones
Our Vision
Tiddlywinks Day Nursery fosters a learning-rich and nurturing environment where young minds can flourish. We believe in celebrating individuality, encouraging exploration, and empowering children to reach their full potential in a safe and supportive space.
About Us
Founded in 2004 by experienced nurse Tracey Brooks, Tiddlywinks has become a trusted name in childcare in York. We are a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional care and learning experiences for children from 3 months to 5 years.
Our Philosophy
Our approach is underpinned by the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum, which focuses on holistic development, encompassing physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth. We provide a stimulating environment enriched with diverse learning experiences that encourage exploration, discovery, and creativity.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of families:
- Early Explorers: For the youngest minds, we provide a nurturing environment where exploration and learning go hand-in-hand.
- Daring Discoverers: As children grow, we encourage them to become independent thinkers and explorers through structured play and discovery-based activities.
- Active Adventurers: We believe in regularly taking the outdoors to learn about the natural world and engage in physical activities.
- Imaginative Investigators: Our dedicated team encourages creative expression and provides opportunities for dramatic play and storytelling.
