Welcome to Sasso restaurant, a family-run Italian business that has been a staple of Harrogate's culinary scene since 1998. Our story began with Stefano Lancellotti and Sara Ferguson, who founded the restaurant with the goal of bringing authentic Italian cuisine to the North of England. Tragically, Stefano passed away in July 2023, but his legacy lives on through the hard work and dedication of our team.
Today, Sasso is run by our Manager, Gabriel, with the support of Domenico and Deborah. Our head chef, Chris, leads our talented team in the kitchen, alongside Stefano's son, Nico, who is following in his father's footsteps. Our team is committed to continuing Stefano's vision of exceptional food and service, with an eye for detail and creativity.
Our Menus
At Sasso, we pride ourselves on our exquisite menus, which showcase the best of Italian and international cuisine. Our menus are designed to be flexible, with options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. From our main menu to our vegan and Frutti di Mare options, we cater to everyone. We use only the freshest ingredients, which sometimes means that dishes may change seasonally. Private Dining
Sasso offers two private dining rooms, perfect for special celebrations, corporate events, and business meetings. Our rooms can accommodate up to 30 people and offer a range of layouts to suit your needs. Our dedicated events manager will work with you to tailor your event, ensuring that every detail is taken care of.
