The Lobster Pot is an award-winning restaurant that has been serving high-quality seafood dishes with a Thai twist for over two decades. Founded in 2001 by Thai chefs Wat and Pensri Pongsawang, who previously worked at Loch Fyne Oyster Bar in the late 1990s, our restaurant has evolved over the years to become a household name in Nottinghamshire and beyond.
Our Story
Our story began when Wat and Pensri, along with their eldest son Chatchai (known as Der), decided to open The Lobster Pot Nottingham in the heart of Nottingham. With years of experience in the industry, they brought a unique blend of Thai flavors and seafood expertise to the table. Since then, the restaurant has continued to thrive under the guidance of Chatchai, who has added his own touch to the menu and service.
Our Restaurants
We have two restaurants in Nottinghamshire: The Lobster Pot Nottingham and Lobster Pot Beeston. Our flagship restaurant in Nottingham is located on Mansfield Road and offers a wide range of seafood dishes, from traditional favorites to innovative creations. Our Beeston location, also known as The Beeston Pot, offers an even wider range of Thai-inspired dishes, taking advantage of its larger kitchen facilities.
