Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, challenging, and relevant to the lives of our children. We offer a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, Art, Computing, Design and Technology, French, Geography, History, Music, and Physical Education. We also offer a range of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, and drama.
Extra-Curricular Activities
We believe that extra-curricular activities play an important role in helping children develop new skills, make new friends, and have fun. Our range of activities includes sports clubs, music clubs, and drama clubs, as well as online lessons in recorder and musical theatre.
Wellbeing and Support
We are committed to supporting the wellbeing and mental health of our children. Our Learning Mentor program provides individualized support to children who may be struggling, and our Mindfulness program helps children develop strategies for managing stress and anxiety. We also offer a range of clubs and activities designed to promote physical and emotional wellbeing, including forest school and outdoor learning.
Parent Support
We believe that parents and carers play an important role in supporting their children's learning and development. We offer a range of ways for parents to get involved, including volunteering in class, attending parent-teacher conferences, and participating in parents' evenings. We also offer a range of policies and information sheets designed to support parents in their role.
Governance
Our governing body is responsible for setting the direction and strategy of the school. Our governors are experienced and dedicated individuals who are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed. We also have a parent governor who represents the views and interests of parents and carers.
