Welcome to Dawn Robinson Photography, a business that has been capturing beautiful memories for over a decade. I am Dawn, the founder and lead photographer of this esteemed photography business. I am happily married to David and have four wonderful sons who never fail to amaze me with their love and support. Our family is completed with our two adorable dogs, Alfie and Storm, who are always by my side during my many walks in the beautiful West Yorkshire surroundings.

My photography journey began seventeen years ago when I decided to pursue a new career and a new me. Since then, I have studied photography extensively and have fallen in love with the art of capturing moments that last a lifetime. In 2019, I made the big decision to close my studio to maintain a better work-life balance. However, I continue to take commissions for outdoor family portraits, work with schools and businesses for headshots and website photography, and have recently become more involved with pet photography.

I am an easy-going person with the ability to put even the most camera-shy individuals at ease. I believe that the best time of the day for photography is early morning, just before sunrise, where I can find inspiration amongst the beauty of nature. My favourite drink is freshly ground and black coffee, which I enjoy in my spare time, along with spending quality time with my family. I am based in Cleckheaton and near Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire, and I am always available to travel to surrounding areas and beyond for photography sessions.
