Inspiring living spaces, one kitchen at a time.
At Little Robins Day Nursery, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional childcare and education for children aged 0 to 5 years. As a privately-owned childcare setting, we have been established for over 20 years and have recently been acquired by Paul Wilkinson and Luke Moore. Our nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, except for Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
Why Choose Little Robins?
Choosing the right nursery for your child is one of the most important and difficult decisions that you will ever have to make. We understand the importance of providing a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where all children, regardless of race, religion, or culture, feel valued and supported. At Little Robins, we aim to promote enthusiasm, self-confidence, and independence in our children.
Our Approach to Learning
Our approach to learning is based on the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is the statutory framework for the early years provision in England. Our experienced and highly qualified team of staff work closely with parents to understand the needs and interests of each child, allowing us to plan and deliver a tailored learning programme that meets the individual needs and abilities of each child.
Our Rooms and Facilities
At Little Robins, we have three rooms catering for children from birth to preschool age, each tailored to meet the individual needs of the children in that age group. Our Baby Room is designed especially for our younger children, with natural wooden low-level furniture and soft lighting creating a relaxing and comfortable environment. Our Toddler Room is a stimulating environment that follows the EYFS framework, and our Pre-School Room is designed to prepare children for their first steps in education, with a focus on reading, writing, maths, and science.
Our Staff
Our experienced and dedicated team of staff are committed to providing high-quality care and education for our children. Each child has a Key Person who is responsible for their care and development, ensuring continuity and individualised attention. Our staff work closely with parents to share information and provide updates on their child's progress.
Parent Partnership
We believe that parents are central to their child's education and development, and as such, we encourage open communication and partnership with our parents. We use a number of ways to share information with parents, including regular progress updates, parent-teacher conferences, and open-door policies. We believe that sharing information is a two-way event, and we encourage parents to share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns with us at any time.
Funding and Support
We also offer a range of funding options, including the government's two-year funding, 30-hour money, and stretch funding. We believe that every child deserves access to high-quality education and care, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Conclusion
At Little Robins Day Nursery, we are committed to providing a safe, fun, and caring environment that supports the development of confident, happy, and independent children. We believe in the importance of parent-child partnerships and the involvement of parents in their child's education and development. We look forward to welcoming you and your child to Little Robins and working in partnership with you to provide the best possible start in life for your child.
