The Royal Highland Fusiliers Museum is a treasured gem in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland. Our museum holds a unique collection of uniforms, paintings, medals, library, and archive that portrays the life of the regiment from 1678 to the present day. We are dedicated to preserving the history of The Royal Highland Fusiliers and its antecedent regiments, The Royal Scots Fusiliers and The Highland Light Infantry.

Our History

The Royal Highland Fusiliers were formed in 1959 by the amalgamation of two of the British Army's most distinguished Regiments, The Royal Scots Fusiliers and The Highland Light Infantry. In 2006, the regiment became part of The Royal Regiment of Scotland, and 1st Battalion The Royal Highland Fusiliers became The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland. Our museum tells the story of our Regiment, including its history, traditions, and achievements.
