Empowering Horsemanship, Building Relationships

Our family-run business, established for over 35 years, is set in 34 acres of beautiful green belt land overlooking the picturesque Totteridge Valley. We take great pride in our friendly and approachable environment, catering for riders of all abilities and ages, from tiny tots to adults and families. Highly commended by the British Horse Society, our experienced and competent teaching staff are dedicated to providing a close-to-home riding community.

Experience the Joy of Riding

At the London Equestrian Centre, we offer a wide range of activities for you to choose from. Come and enjoy a private lesson where our friendly team will allocate a suitable horse or pony for you and guide you through your learning experience. We also offer shared and semi-private lessons for families or friends who would like to ride together. For those eager to develop their riding skills, we provide group lessons at set times throughout the week with a maximum of four riders of similar ability per session.

Our on-site facilities include pony days, which run during school holidays. These full-day programmes cater to children aged six years and above, offering a safe and controlled environment where they can build their confidence around ponies while learning equine care and riding skills. Additionally, we have young rider training days for those who wish to take their riding to the next level.

Meet Our Wonderful Horses

At the heart of our centre are our much-loved horses and ponies. We have a wide selection for you to choose from, carefully matched to suit each rider's ability. Visit our "Meet our Horses" page to learn more about the unique personalities and attributes of our four-legged stars and find the perfect match for your riding journey.

How to Book

To begin your equestrian experience, follow these four simple steps:

1. View our activities and lessons, and select the one that suits your needs.

2. Register as a client on our partner website, EC Pro, and add all riders.

3. Add money to your account using our straightforward payment methods-payments are non-refundable and are valid for six months.

4. Book lessons using your EC Pro account; new riders must start with a private lesson, while group lessons and other lesson types require suitability assessments.

Please note that riders under the age of four cannot ride on their own, but we offer 15-minute Tiny Tot Rides for three-year-olds on our smallest ponies, which are a fantastic introduction to the joys of riding.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to the London Equestrian Centre. Join us for an unforgettable riding experience in our friendly and picturesque setting.
