At Arcadia, we believe that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to grow and learn in a nurturing environment. Our purpose-built nursery is designed around the concept of free-play, providing children with the freedom to explore, discover, and learn at their own pace.

We adopt an ethos of child-led learning, focusing on each child as an individual, considering their individual needs and interests. We believe that the chance to learn is all around us, and every child should grow in their own unique way.

Our Environments

Our indoor environments are designed to encourage and support free flow play. Large, open plan rooms allow for children to move easily between all areas of the room. Children are supported to be independent in their play by staff who facilitate their learning. Our outdoor environments provide many further opportunities for learning, with children having free flow access to the garden throughout the day.

Early Learning and Care

We provide high-quality early learning and care for children from birth to five years old. Our experienced and qualified staff will work closely with you to ensure that your child's individual needs are met.

Food and Nutrition

We take food and nutrition seriously at Arcadia. We combine sociable mealtimes with balanced nutrition and freshly prepared menus to ensure that every child receives the nutrients they need to thrive.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to support the development of children from birth to five years old. Our experienced and qualified staff will work closely with you to ensure that your child's individual needs are met and that they make progress every day.

Our Locations

We have two purpose-built nursery locations, each with its own unique character and designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.

Kings Buildings

Located in the heart of the University of Edinburgh's Kings Buildings campus, our Kings Buildings nursery is designed to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for children.

Easter Bush

Our Easter Bush nursery, located in the picturesque village of Roslin, provides a similar environment for children to learn and play.

Nursery Team Leader Pre-School (Edinburgh)

We are looking for a motivated Nursery Team Leader to join our expanding management team and provide professional leadership and support to our playroom staff. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an early years setting and at least one year of experience in a leadership role.
