At St Andrew's C E Primary School, we believe that every pupil has the potential to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. We aim to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages learning, creativity, and self-expression. As a Church of England Primary School, we are guided by our Christian values and strive to promote these values throughout our daily lives.

Our Mission

Our mission is to educate pupils in a caring and enabling environment, where they can develop their unique talents and abilities. We are committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all our pupils, and we work closely with parents and carers to ensure that every child has access to the best possible education.

Our Services

Our school offers a wide range of services to support the learning and well-being of our pupils. These include:

  • Early Help Offer: We provide early help services to support the social and emotional development of our pupils, including our popular 'Courageous Advocacy' programme.
  • Pupil Premium: We use the pupil premium funding to provide additional support for our pupils who are eligible for free school meals, including one-to-one tutoring and extracurricular activities.
  • SEND: We have a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department, which provides targeted support and advice to parents and carers of pupils with special educational needs.
  • PE Grant and Sport: We offer a range of extracurricular sports and physical education activities, including netball, football, cricket, and dance.
  • Worship and Spiritual Development: We believe that worship and spiritual development are essential aspects of a child's education. We offer a range of worship and spiritual development activities, including church visits and Religious Education lessons.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, challenging, and relevant to the needs of our pupils. We offer a broad and balanced range of subjects, including English, maths, science, history, geography, art and design technology, music, and computing. We also offer additional extracurricular activities and clubs, including French, basketball, and chess.
