Our Systems

UBX systems provide an invisible electronic energy shield that can be rapidly deployed and is completely wire-free. Our patented "Unique Band X" technology has been independently trialled and approved by BT, HSBC, and RBS to meet their approved security specifications. We have a proven track record of successfully completing over 5200 bank projects and over 375 major BT projects.

The Technology: Scaffold Alarms

The "Scaffold Intruder Alarm System" was invented in 1989 by David Dando, the founder of UBX. Following extensive prototype trials, the UBX (Unique Band X) microwave technology was established, and the technology and methodology were granted full International Patents in 1995. The scaffold intruder alarm system has since become the world's most advanced outdoor intruder prevention system for scaffolding.

Why was it Invented?

In 1989, there was an increase in crime as intruders utilised scaffolding to break into buildings at higher levels, avoiding ground floor security. Midland Bank branches, which were clad in scaffolding, were suffering attacks and robberies. The very first Scaffold Intruder Alarm System was installed in 1990 to address this issue.
