At The Bruce Nursery, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Our nursery has been established since 1981 and has built a reputation for providing high-quality childcare and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Our Staff

Our staff are highly trained and dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing the best possible care and education for your child. We believe in continuing professional development and offer regular training and support to ensure our staff are equipped to meet the changing needs of children and families. Our staff are thoroughly vetted in accordance with Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland Requirements (SCSWIS) and undergo regular supervision and feedback to ensure we are meeting the highest standards of childcare and education.

Our Facilities

Our nursery is situated in a residential street in the West End of Aberdeen, within easy reach of public transport and with ample parking. Our garden is fully enclosed and offers a safe and secure area for children to play and explore. We have a spacious and well-equipped indoor play area, as well as a separate area for quiet activities and rest. Our nursery is open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:00pm, and is open 52 weeks a year.

Our Partnerships

We have strong partnerships with local authorities and organizations to provide pre-school and ante-pre-school education for all children aged 3-5 years. We also work closely with parents to provide opportunities for parental involvement and participation in nursery activities.

We take the confidentiality of your child's and family's information very seriously. We adhere to the Data Protection Act and ensure that all information is kept in the strictest confidence.

Our Policies and Procedures

We have an extensive range of policies and procedures in place to ensure the highest standards of childcare and education. These policies and procedures are available for parents to view and can be requested from the Nursery Manager.
