Our Cleaning Services

At The Cats Whiskers Domestic Cleaning, we specialise in providing regular domestic home cleaning services, including other house-keeping duties such as laundry and ironing. We understand that every home is different, and we aim to provide a personalised cleaning service that suits the specific needs of our clients. Our cleaning staff are trained to clean interiors only, including internal windows, subject to health and safety considerations. We provide weekly or fortnightly services, or any other frequency agreed upon, subject to a minimum session of two hours.

We use only the equipment and products that our clients wish us to use, ensuring that we cause no damage or harm to their property. We are happy to use your vacuum cleaner, any other equipment that may be required, and your cleaning products. We believe that this approach not only ensures the highest quality cleaning service but also respects our clients' wishes and preferences.

Specialist Cleaning Services

While we specialise in regular domestic home cleaning services, we do not provide specialist cleaning services such as carpet cleaning, oven cleaning, or cleaning of antiques or other items requiring specialist equipment or expertise. We believe that it is essential to leave specialist cleaning tasks to professionals who have the necessary training, equipment, and expertise to perform these tasks safely and efficiently.

Our Cleaning Staff

Our cleaning staff are our employees, and we take great care in selecting the best candidates for the job. All new staff must supply an up-to-date CRB (Basic Disclosure) before being accepted onto the payroll. We aim to provide the same cleaner to a client on every visit, knowing how important it is for you to know the person who has access to your home while you are at work or elsewhere. Our cleaning staff complete timesheets in respect of the actual time spent in a client's home, ensuring that we are transparent and accountable for the time we spend on each cleaning job.

Invoicing and Payment

We issue invoices on a calendar month basis in arrears. Our clients can pay directly to our bank account over the internet or by cheque sent through the post. We believe in making the payment process as convenient as possible, ensuring that our clients can pay their invoices promptly and without any hassle.
