Our Team

Our team of dentists, hygienists, nurses, and receptionists are dedicated to providing our patients with the highest standard of dental care. We are committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring that we stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.

Our principal dentist, Nilma Shah, qualified from Cardiff University of Wales College of Medicine with Merit in 2003. She has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and has undergone postgraduate training at various practices in and around Luton, including sessions at the local hospital.

Maivand Lemar joined The Dental Centre in 2019, after gaining his qualifications from Barts and The London and being awarded Honours. He has a special interest in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and has completed a comprehensive one-year course in Contemporary and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Allan Sands qualified in 1956 at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel, and has an interest in cosmetic dentistry and surgical extractions. He enjoys watching horse racing, travelling, and dining out.

David Rowland qualified in 1988 at University college Hospital London and has his own practice in north London, where he works part-time. He is a keen athlete and enjoys swimming, cycling, and mountain climbing.

Sumeet Duggal qualified in 2010 from Barts and The London and enjoys all aspects of general practice. He strives to use pain-free dentistry with a calming approach and regularly attends various courses to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and materials.

Stella Kwan is a qualified dentist who graduated from the dental school of The University of Melbourne, Australia. She has a particular interest in dental implants and has pursued further training in this area. She has delivered both public and private general dentistry over the years and uses a reliable implant system that has a sound research background.

Bhumica Depala gained her qualification from The University of Manchester in 2011. She has a particular interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry as well as endodontics (root canal treatment). She enjoys treating very anxious and phobic patients.

Nicky Game is our practice manager and is responsible for the smooth running of the practice. She is trained in Oral Health Education and is our Caldicott Guardian (Confidentiality Monitor) for the Practice.

Our hygienists, Eva Milburn, Enza Clifford, and Melinda Cook, provide a range of dental hygiene services, including scaling and polishing, periodontal treatment, and oral health education.

Our nurses, Sam, Tania, Sasha, and Lauren, provide support to the dentists and ensure the smooth running of the practice. They are all fully qualified and registered with the General Dental Council.
