For over four decades, I, Michele Martinoli, have been a freelance photographer, working with various publications and clients. My body of work is vast and diverse, covering a range of subjects from fashion to music to portraiture. In this section, I would like to introduce myself and share my journey as a photographer.

My Story

My journey in photography began in the 1980s, freelancing for various publications. During the 1990s, I specialized in photographing the male physique and worked extensively with the Gay Press Worldwide. My work has been published in publications from across the globe, including France, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, the US, and Australia. I've also had my images featured in various books on the Male Nude.

In addition to my editorial work, I've also ventured into commercial photography, shooting campaigns for the Department of Health, Myeloma UK, Living Well, Hello! Magazine, Scholastic Publishing, Blakes Publishing, Claremont PR, and Audience Communication. Music has also played a significant role in my work, with commissions to shoot album covers and publicity shots for The Fixx, Pete Burns, and various singers and DJs.

Throughout my career, I've received formal education in photography, including diplomas from the Ealing Technical College in London and a Bachelor's degree in Photography and Multimedia from the University of Westminster.
