Our History

Lettings of Distinction was born from a passion for luxury self-catering holidays and a belief in providing exceptional customer service. Our company director, Craig Douglas, sold a web-based caravanning business in 2007 and turned his attention to self-catering, forming Reserve Apartments and Bookster. Craig now runs Reserve Apartments, a self-catering agency with properties in Edinburgh, and is an active shareholder within Bookster, the company that provides our Property Management software. In 2020 and 2021, Craig acquired Coast Properties and Lettings of Distinction respectively, expanding our portfolio of exclusive-use holiday homes in East Lothian.
