Welcome to West Ord Holiday Cottages, a family-run business located on a beautiful riverside farm near Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland. Our three superb cottages, Geary Shiel, South Bells Shiel, and Shepherds Cottage, offer comfortable self-catering accommodation for individuals, couples, and families. Our farm, West Ord, is a 470-acre holding, with our cottages situated on the banks of the River Tweed, just three miles west of the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
About Us
I, Carol Lang, am the owner and manager of West Ord Holiday Cottages, working alongside my husband Sandy, who runs the farming enterprise, and his brother Jim. Our farm is mainly an arable farm, producing high-quality cereals. We have a strong commitment to providing a warm welcome and exceptional service to our guests. Our cottages are nestled in an idyllic setting, offering stunning views of the River Tweed and the surrounding countryside.
Our Cottages
We offer three beautifully appointed cottages, each with its own unique character and charm. Our cottages sleep 4, 5, and 6 people, making them perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends. Each cottage features comfortable furnishings, modern amenities, and beautiful views of the River Tweed.
