Accreditations and Achievements
We are proud to announce that we have successfully achieved renewal of all three of our FORS accreditations, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. FORS is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators, and its purpose is to improve fleet activity in London and throughout the UK by raising the level of quality within fleet operators. These accreditations demonstrate our commitment to providing a service that is quality-driven, and our dedication to improving the transport industry.
In March 2019, we were pleased to announce the arrival of three new vehicles to our fleet, including a 3.5t flatbed, a 7.5t crane, and a 7.5t box sleeper cab, all equipped to the FORS Gold Standard. In November 2018, we added a Renault Traffic freezer van and two Daf 7.5t curtain sided vehicles to our fleet. We have also taken delivery of a 5th 18T C/S Scania and a new 18T Box truck with tail lift, as well as a new 44t tractor unit.
In May 2018, R&P Distribution achieved Silver Level accreditation for the second year in a row and was also awarded Gold accreditation, the highest level of accreditation, with Transport for London's Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). This scheme voluntarily improves fleet activity in London and throughout the UK by raising the level of quality within fleet operators. We successfully proved to external assessors that our operation is run safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally sound manner. Our robust driver training schemes and our vehicles meeting the FORS Silver level of safety equipment have contributed to our Silver level accreditation. Our high level of driver and staff training, dedication to managing on-site risk, and our commitment to obtaining the safest and most economical transport options have earned us our Gold accreditation.

Delivery and Customer Service
R&P have received praise for their efficient delivery service, with one customer expressing their happiness with the delivery of a pallet containing a large bath and radiator within the stated time window. The driver was also commended for being friendly and excellent.
Employee Experience
Some employees have had a positive experience working for R&P, with one reviewer commenting on the professionalism and personability of the employed drivers. They were impressed with the way they were shown better ways of doing things and appreciated the lack of condescension.
Critical Employee Experience
However, not all employees have had a positive experience. One reviewer, who worked for R&P for 6 years, expressed their disappointment and anger towards the company after the previous owners sold out to Freight 24. They claimed that bills were not being paid, fuel cards were constantly bouncing, and the company was stealing employees' pensions.
Training and Driver Conduct
There have been concerns raised about the training provided by R&P, with one reviewer stating that their trucks have been parked on pavements and double yellow lines several times in their village. Additionally, one driver's atrocious driving was reported, with the reviewer claiming that the driver entered their lane with no warning and no indicators, nearly causing a crash.
Positive Response from Management
In one instance, a prompt reply from the manager, Samuel, was received in response to a complaint about a driver's conduct. The issue was addressed, and the reviewer was thankful for the response.
