Smart Pro Mobile Vehicle Cosmetic Repairs is a family-owned and operated mobile car body repair service that has been serving the Surrey, Surrey/Hampshire border area, and West Sussex since 2010. Our mobile car body repair service is the perfect solution for customers who do not wish to claim through their motor insurance. We specialize in using SMART (small to medium area repair techniques) to repair bodywork damage, rather than replacing damaged bodywork panels. This approach significantly reduces repair costs and minimizes the time your car spends off the road.

*Bumper Scuffs, Dents and Splits*

A large proportion of the mobile car body repair work we undertake is to front and rear bumper covers. These are typical of the same-day repairs we undertake, often saving cars from a lengthy stay in a body shop. Our technicians are experienced in repairing scratches, scuffs, dents, and splits, using plastic welding techniques where necessary. We carry over 90 different colour tinters and mix/match the paint from the car's paint code, ensuring a perfect match.

*Mobile Panel Scratch & Paint Chip Repairs*

We also offer mobile car body repairs to vertical panels such as doors, quarter panels, tailgates, and boot lids. We do not undertake paint repairs to large flat panels such as roofs or bonnets, as these are unsuitable for outside repairs due to the likelihood of airborne debris landing on the wet paint/lacquer. If the panel is slightly dented around the scratch, we apply several thin skims of filler and abrade smooth before applying the paint and lacquer.

Where areas of damage to steel panels have become corroded, we advise that the panel is replaced, as the corrosion is likely to return. For dents where the paintwork has not been damaged, repairs may be possible using Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) techniques. Our colleague, Ryan, specializes in and is extremely accomplished in this "black art"!

*Dings & Dents*

For mobile car body repairs involving Dings & Dents, we start by thoroughly cleaning the dented panel. We then use various techniques to reduce the dent(s) and "tap down" any "high spots", prior to abrading the damaged area. We apply several thin skims of filler and "key" the repair area with etch primer before applying the paint and lacquer.

*Headlight Lens Refurbishment*

Older cars are prone to suffering from ultraviolet ray damage to their headlight lenses, resulting in the lenses becoming cloudy, usually with a slightly yellow tint. This leads to a diminished light output over time or a lack of light output, as flagged by the MOT test inspector as an "advisory". We offer a headlight outer lens refurbishment service to restore your headlight lenses to their former clarity.
